Team Expectations
There is no "I" in team. As cliche as that sounds, there is no room for non-team players. We are a team and therefore we support and encourage one another to become better performers as well as better humans. Every practice serves as lessons, not only in learning choreography, but it also helps build character. "Everyday you don't practice, someone else does! " A phrase the dancers are too familiar with. The single most important aspect of dance is training. Just like everything else in life, if you want to be the best you have to put in the work. Our dancers aren't handed their trophies and titles, they work for them . We aspire that our team keeps up with training, therefore it is important that our dancers respect studio time is for training.

- Right or left single pirouette, right or left split, grand jete right or left, heel grab on one side
- HTB Dance Co. Petite's Team Ages 8-9
- Right and left single pirouette, right and left split, grand jete right and left, cartwheel on one side, heel grab on both sides
- HTB Dance Co. JR. Team Ages 9-10
- Double pirouette on one side, right and left splits, grand jete right and left, cartwheels, walkovers, heel grab on both sides, tilt on one side
- HTB Dance Co. Intermediate Team 10-12
- Double pirouettes both sides, right and left splits, grand jete right and left, middle split, side leap, firebird, cartwheels, walkovers, heel grab on both sides, tilt on both sides
- HTB Dance Co. Teen Team Ages 13+
- Triple pirouette on one side, right and left splits, grand jete right and left, middle split, side leap, firebird, cartwheels, walkovers, foutee Turns, A la seconde turns, turning jete, turning disc, advanced acro tricks, switch leaps & switch tilts on one side
TEAM WEEKLY REQUIRED CLASSES & REHEARSALS
Being a part of the HTB Dance Co competition team is the best way for your dancer to receive additional training, performance opportunities, and memories to last a lifetime. Please note being a part of the dance team requires a lot of commitment and dedication. Weekly attendance is mandatory unless excused, as showing up is extremely important. All requirements to stay on the team are crucial for maintaining our standards and achieving our goals together.

REQUIRED COMPETITIONS
Each competition team will take one group dance to competition in their discipline. We attend two mandatory regional competitions each season in February & May.
Competition Team also performs an opening production number in the December & June studio recitals.
All team members will have the opportunity to compete solos, duos & trios at the two optional regional competitions in April & May and also at Nationals in June.
