ATTENDANCE
- Please inform the instructor in advance if you'd like your child to participate in the June recital of the upcoming year.
- Please notify the studio if you will be missing class at least 12 hours in advance.
- For all absences on the competition team, you will still be charged the full rate.
- If there are only 3 students in class for dance, the teacher will shorten the class from 60 mins. to 45 mins., therefore attendance and advanced sign up is key to having a successful dance class.
- Students must arrive 5-10 minutes before class to allow time to use the bathroom, dress, remove jewelry, and neatly put hair back.
- All students must be READY TO DANCE at the start of each class. Late students may only enter with permission from the teacher and may be asked to sit and observe class.
- If a health condition exists which will prevent full participation, please notify Hit the Barre Dance Company in writing as soon as possible.
- Students who miss two classes will receive a verbal warning.
- Students who miss three or more classes may have a diminished role in performances -- if student is part of the competition team they may be suspended until further notice from the teacher.
- Makeups for missed classes are offered when possible and handled on an individual basis.
